The Heavy Metal Summer Experience (HMSE) is a FREE program designed to introduce high school students and recent
graduates to union careers in the building trades.

HMSE takes place in the offices and shops of premier mechanical and electrical contractors and union training centers throughout the country.

Through training sessions led by craft professionals, students explore the basics of the sheet metal, electrical, piping and plumbing trades and come away energized by a high paying future with job security and no college debt.
