Wheels for Meals Poker Run

Come join us for a ride into the future on your motorcycles or classic cars. You must be a SMACNA Arizona or PIPE contractor or a member of Local #359 or #469 or sponsored / invited guest to participate. Lunch & Dinner are included with your registration fee. The 3rd Union Mechanical Poker Run will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2008. Come enjoy a beautiful day out with friends and family and help out the Area Agency on Aging, specifically their home delivery of meals for shut ins.

  • Pre-Registration Fee by November 1... $30 per hand
  • Registration Fee after November 2... $35 per hand

FIVE CARD STUD
Prizes will be awarded to the best poker hands.

  • 1st Place winner receives $300
  • 2nd Place winner receives $200
  • 3rd Place winner receives $100

Sponsorships are available @ $250 each. Have your company name & logo on a flag. Flags will be flying at Local 359 & 469 and at the Roadrunner Saloon during the award ceremony.

1st Stop
Local 469, 3109 N. 24th St., Phoenix at 10:00 am with a continental breakfast. Check in and pick up your custom T-shirt which was designed by Derrick Pauling of Dynamic Systems, Inc. Last card will be handed out at 11:00 am.

2nd Stop
Billet Bar, 3752 N. Scottsdale Rd., Scottsdale. Last card at 12:30 pm.

3rd Stop
Local 359, 2604 E. Adams, Phoenix. A barbeque lunch of hamburgers and hotdogs will begin at noon. Buy your 50/50 raffle ticket here for $5.00 (winner will be announced at the Roadrunner). Last card at 2:00 pm.

4th Stop
Harold's Cave Creek Coral, 6875 E. Cave Creek Rd., Cave Creek. Last card at 3:30 pm.

5th Stop
Roadrunner Saloon, 47801 N. Black Canyon Highway, New River. Last card at 4:30 pm. Join us when we announce the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners of the best poker hand. Dinner will be served at approximately 5:00 pm and is included in your registration fee. Dinner selection is BBQ pork sandwiches, coleslaw, chips, water or soda.

The undersigned, being of lawful age, hereby releases and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless, SMACNA Arizona, PIPE, Local 359 & Local 469, its agents, employees, volunteers, administrators, officers, directors, or members from any and all liability, actions, damages (bodily or personal property), suits, demands or claims of any nature arising from or connected with, in any manner, their participation in the 2008 Union Mechanical Poker Run and its related activities.

Safety is the primary concern. We appreciate your support and for the safety of all, encourage you to wear protective headgear. You must observe all Federal, State, and Local road laws, follow the rules set by the State and Local Police and ride safely and defensively. We request that you and your passengers wear appropriate clothing and eyewear. Please ride with your headlights on at all times and never ride under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

I further agree to waive all benefits flowing from and state statute that would negate or limit the scope of this release and Indemnification Agreement. By signing this RELEASE, I certify that I have read this RELEASE and fully understand it and that I am not relying on any statements or representations made by the released parties.
