  • Description:

    The D.L. Withers Construction project located in the Desert Ridge area of Phoenix consists of a new three story, 191,000-square-foot office building, an addition of 1,200 surface parking spaces and expansion of the central plant to accommodate the new building areas. This very unique Class A office building boasts a multitude of flexible spaces and common areas along with traditional office features to suit the varying requirements of the business unit occupants.

  • Services Provided:

    Premier Mechanical provided the installation of the new HVAC and plumbing systems for the entire project, which consisted of a new 1,000-ton chiller, 1,000-ton cooling tower and heat exchanger in the existing central plant building with the integration of a new temperature controls system. The three-story office building consisted of six 35,000 CFM air handling units and two 13,500 CFM rooftop makeup air units, as well as fan coil and VAV units. A new temperature controls system provided the cooling requirements throughout the new facility. The ductwork consisted of over 450,000 pounds of medium and low-pressure ductwork in the form of a loop “oval” system to accommodate the ceiling requirements needed. The project also included a new plumbing waste, vent and water system with fixtures at every floor.
