PHOENIX, Ariz. – Jan. 11, 2018 – The Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors National Association Arizona Chapter (SMACNA-AZ) – a contractor organization that leads the heating, ventilating and air conditioning industry by setting the highest standards of performance, service and safety – endorses Kate Gallego’s 2018 campaign for Phoenix Mayor.

During her tenure on the Phoenix City Council, Councilwoman Gallego has championed new projects that create union jobs. Councilwoman Gallego led the campaign to pass the Phoenix Equal Pay Ordinance. She also spearheaded Proposition 104, which ensures improvements of the city’s infrastructure and transit system through 2050.

The leaders of SMACNA-AZ look forward to continuing its work with the future mayor on policies that create new developments in the City of Phoenix.
